The idea
A space to share. A moment to keep.
DropSync is a secure, temporary file-sharing and collaboration app we designed and built end to end. Drop files, text notes, voice memos and drawings into an encrypted space, then pick them up on any other device — or work together in shared workspaces. Everything in it is ephemeral by design: every drop carries an expiry you choose, from an hour to a full day, and when it's gone, it's gone.
Inside the product
A shared workspace
Bring a team together with an invite code. Group chat, live calls and screen sharing keep the conversation alongside the work.
An assistant that acts
Find, create and organise drops through conversation, with server-side verification and separate protection for locked content.
How we built it
Privacy shaped the architecture. Drops are encrypted in the browser before upload, while shared workspaces sync across devices. The assistant verifies requests on the server and keeps password-protected content behind separate checks.
